About

The STEM Education in Papua New Guinea Conference ethos represents a deep commitment to collaboration, innovation, and excellence in STEM education. At its core, the conference creates a space where educators are at the forefront of leading learning and pedagogical co-creation and change. Through collaboration between national and international educators, leaders, and local STEM community stakeholders and communities, the conference focuses on the exchange of ideas and alignment of strategies that support and enhance STEM learning and teaching across Papua New Guinea. Meaningful change and progress occur by understanding local contexts and working co-operatively across sectors, regions, and perspectives.

The conference encourages and supports engagement, participation and dialogue that honours local knowledge and best practices. Key to the conference is to create engagement and support between speakers, presenters and participants by building communities of practice, exploring pedagogical approaches that are sustainable and inclusive, and enhance learning and teaching.
